One week course

The Fundamentals of Floristry Level Two

This one week course can be undertaken as a module on its own - or as part of the Five Week Career Course

A logical continuation of Fundamentals to Floristry - Part One - this week-long course delves further into flower retail, opening with a merchandising seminar from a senior McQueens Flowers shop florist, followed by an extra-large hand-tie design tutorial. Alongside bouquets, master additional retail items including an everlasting wreath and intricate terrarium.

The week goes on to explore other key specialisms - with an introduction to contract work, guided by a Senior Contracts Florist followed by an excursion to meet one of McQueens Flowers’ most notable clients.

To close the week, students come together as a group to work on a large-scale project - guided by the tutors on logistics, mechanics and considerations when working off-site.
