Advanced Installation Design

This one week course can be undertaken as a module on its own - or as part of the Five Week Career Course.

Advanced Installations week at McQueens Flower School provides a rare opportunity to create large-scale floral works of art. This fast-paced course offers a 360-degree learning environment, distilling the most crucial aspects for executing the most dynamic of displays.

Each day is dedicated to a new structure - from popular designs regularly requested for events such as flower walls and suspended creations to innovative and conceptual works for students to interpret and develop their creative thinking.

Central to this opportunity is leaving the classroom and experiencing a day in the life of a florist on site. Previous locations have included museums, shop windows and restaurants.

When will McQueens Flower School Reopen? McQueens Flower School plans to reopen from 17th May in line with government guidelines.

What time do I need to arrive? Full-day classes begin at 10am and finish at 4pm. We advise students to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes for their class or workshop.

Half-day classes begin at 10am and finish around at 1pm.

Should I bring anything with me? There is no need to bring anything with you as all equipment is provided - including an apron and tote bag. You may want to bring a notepad and pen if you'd like to make notes. During full-day workshops and courses there is a one-hour lunch break - there are lots of food options in the area. Light refreshments such as tea and coffee are provided throughout the day.

Where is McQueens Flower School located? McQueens Flower School is delighted to reveal that we will be moving to a purpose-built studio on Mayfair's North Audley Street.

How do I get to McQueens Flower School? McQueens Flower School is centrally located with excellent transport links including Bond Street Underground Station which is just a 5-minute walk away for the Central Line and Jubilee Line.
