Located at the front of McQueens’ creative hub, head office and flower school, our busy Bethnal Green shop enables visitors to take a peek into our extensive workshop where magic is made and amazing and memorable floral designs are created. If you’re lucky, you might get sneak preview of an extraordinary creation destined for a palace, a grand ballroom, a glittering red-carpet event or a private dinner.

While not visible from the street, our flower shop in Claridge’s is open to the public six days a week, stocked with a full range of fresh flowers and a talented team who would be delighted to create a beautiful hand-tied bouquet or arrangement while you wait or for collection.

Turn left inside the main lobby, and walk past reception and the concierge towards the Ballroom, Our shop will be directly in front of you at the end of the corridor.


McQueens Korea

Following 2018's hugely successful pop-up in Seoul, McQueens are set to open a permanent venue in the Korean city in Spring 2019. Lead by an expert team including McQueens long-time senior designer, Zibi Zareba, the flower school looks forward to welcoming its first students of the year in April.

Role:

The job-holder will be responsible for driving direct and indirect B2B sales across one or more of the company’s sales channels. Supporting and reporting into the Business and Partnership Manager, your primary responsibility is to identify and secure commercially attractive recurring revenues through long-term relationships with relevant partners, customers and introducers by building a pipeline of opportunities from scratch and converting them into profitable customers. Once each account is established, you will continue to manage and develop them from a strategic perspective, but day to day responsibility for individual projects and jobs will be taken by the nominated customer project specialist or customer relationship manager.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate drive and initiative, a relentless focus on results, an ability to prioritise workload and tasks, commercial acumen, discipline, superb written and oral communication skills, and organisational skills.

Duties:

- Building a strong understanding of the business in order to identify new opportunities to grow revenues and margins
- Achieve or exceed sales targets
- Organising weekly calls / face to face meetings with prospective and existing clients
- Developing a deep understanding of the market and competitors’ offering
- Developing existing client database to facilitate lead generation
- Accurate and timely tracking and reporting of sales activity and results
- Comply with all company policies and procedures at all times

Customer Project Specialist – Floral Design

The Role

The job-holder will be a member of the McQueens customer team, with responsibility for managing customer’s floral design projects from beginning to end.

Whatever the size of project, you’ll take ownership of the customer and be at their side throughout – from initial enquiry to clearance afterwards, and every step between. Your job is to understand and interpret their needs and ideas and then translate them into a winning proposal by working with the rest of the team to create and deliver amazing floral designs for events and weekly flowers, and contributing to the growth of our company.

You’ll need to be a confident communicator with the skills and experience required to successfully handle enquiries, meet with customers, provide creative leadership to customers as well as give practical guidance and advice, produce beautiful costed proposals, deliver presentations, work with our creative team, plan and organise logistics, go to installations when necessary, and take ownership of the project from start to finish to deliver an outstanding result.

You’ll be predominantly based in the office but will be required to meet customers on site or in their office. As a frontline contact for our customers, this ambassador role requires you to look and act the part at all times – retaining composure and professionalism, and an ability to be diplomatic at times.

Duties

- Responsible for promptly and appropriately handling incoming customer project enquiries and requests
- Responsible for meeting with customers as required
- Responsible for fully understanding customers’ needs and ideas
- Responsible for working with our creative team to develop and refine the brief and design for each project
- Responsible for producing beautiful, on-brand presentations and costed proposals
- Responsible for collaborating with colleagues in other teams to plan, deliver and install amazing floral designs
- Responsible for communicating with relevant colleagues to ensure that delivery times and deadlines are met
- Responsible for finding thoughtful and creative solutions to problems as they occur
- Contribute to the achievement of high levels of customer satisfaction
- Contribute to growing revenues and increasing company profitability
- Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete customer records
- Comply with all company policies and procedures at all times
- Maintain the confidentiality of all types of information relating to employees, customers, etc
