Gina Hardy, Head of Events
There’s only one thing that comes before flowers at McQueens - our incredibly hard-working and talented team. With four busy departments creating incredible displays every day (and night) we love to share behind-the-scenes and shine a spotlight on the amazing work taking place.

To coincide with International Women’s Day - we’re delighted to introduce you to a true McQueens Flowers superhero, Gina Hardy. Gina joined the mighty events team as a Project Manager in the autumn of 2018. With ten years of floristry exeprience at just 26, Gina dazzled the entire company with her calm but determined attititude. Her time to really shine came in May 2019 when she led McQueen’s biggest installation to date - and not only that our first ever feature for RHS Chelsea. Months of research alongside experts in bee haviour, engineers and managing almost all 60 of the McQueens Flowers workforce at somepoint saw Gina deliver a bee-friendly floral tunnel complete with an upside-down lavendar field...phew. Within months, Gina had the opportunity to become Head of Events - and, as they say, the rest is history.

Watch the video to follow a say in the life of our super star Head of Events, Gina Hardy.
